I went to the Accounting Club Meeting and ultimately ended up joining the club. The meeting began by introducing the President who is Elayna Burdelski. Then, introduced the Vice President who is Matt Zanella. Matt is a senior from Butler, PA. who transferred from University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg after two years. The President and Vice President then asked everyone if we had any ideas for fundraising events/events to get the clubs name out. We concluded with four events, these events included a kickball tournament, a panel of accounting professors to talk with B&E students, Chipotle fundraiser, and volunteering at a local Tax Day. Company Me Mission Statement:  Protect people until their last breath, because no one should be unaccounted for.  Business Environment: The industry that Hunter Swartz Inc. will be competing in is the technology industry. I plan on being a product manager, which has to have a lot of  entrepreneur  skills to get the job done. There is becoming a high  demand  for these types of managers with little to no  supply of them. The median salary for a software development product manager where I am from is $112,619 (O*NET). The reason the median salary is so high is because of the high demand of new technology. Hunter Swartz IA02 12 October 2018 The person I chose to be my role model is Connor Paul. Connor and I are very alike when it comes to certain aspects which is why I thought he would be a good choice to interview as a role model. Connor is an accounting major and on the baseball team, like me. He is also a fellow accounting club member and specifically Connor is on the Accounting Club board. A lot of our interests align as well. Connor is interested in baseball, football, fishing, golf, and shoes.  Connor gave me very good advice on how I should be studying in college. I’ve never had good studying strategies so Connor helping me out was a big advantage for me. He said to never cram for an exam, to always study at least two to three days ahead of time and review very hard. He said the more you review, the better it will stick with you when exam time comes.
