Mission Statement: 

Protect people until their last breath, because no one should be unaccounted for. 

Business Environment:

The industry that Hunter Swartz Inc. will be competing in is the technology industry. I plan on being a product manager, which has to have a lot of entrepreneur skills to get the job done. There is becoming a high demand for these types of managers with little to no supplyof them. The median salary for a software development product manager where I am from is $112,619 (O*NET). The reason the median salary is so high is because of the high demand of new technology. This means that the economic forces that are driving this industry is how many times people come out with a new technology and want to better everyone’s lives by consistently coming in with breakthrough technology that helps people in many ways. 

Entrepreneurship and Strategy:

The product Hunter Swartz Inc. will be selling is a watch for people with known heart problems or elderly people that are by themselves for the majority of the day. These watches will have a GPS in them as well as a HR Monitor that can keep track of Blood Pressure. If we notice something is off, we will alert the authorities to get them the help they deserve. I think the biggest challenge we will face is marketing. The reason for this is because of the marketing environment. We have a lot of competitionwith other companies such as Apple, FitBit, etc. I plan on advertising heavily with a significant lesser price because I feel that everyone should be able to afford one so that they can look after their loved ones. 

Management:

As the general manager of Hunter Swartz Inc. I need to make sure that my employees are always preforming at their best. To aid in this I will develop incentivesand make sure they reach them with ease, and the ones that do not will not stay in my company. They will stay motivatedby these incentives and will work hard to repeatedly meet these standardsI have set. I plan on having a strict company codewith high morals and ethics to make sure everyone feels comfortable in the work place. To attract ourselves to the right industries I feel all of these points are necessitates, we need to show we are a well-developed and company run with pride and precision. I know “We will have to place ourselves where we can make the greatest contribution. And we will have to stay mentally alert and engaged during a 50-year working life, which means knowing how and when to change the work we do”(Drucker P1). I really like this quote because to adapt to the industry we are in, we need to make sure that we are ahead of the game and consistently changing with society. I will consult all of my coworkers and bosses to make sure that they think as well as I do that, we are making the best decision for our company. 

Marketing:

I plan on promoting my product by advertising to mass amounts of people by showing our product in hospitals, elderly homes, technology stores, and billboards. I also plan on promoting this product by showing how it works and putting it on social media to give a good idea of exactly how my product would show. The place of businessI will be setting up is my hometown of Harrisburg. While I will be in Harrisburg, the productI am selling is my watch. The price will be significantly less than things such as an Apple Watch and a FitBit around $125. To promotemy products, I will advertise and show these to people. Instead of dealing with things such as life alert that makes you press a button, this product even helps whenever you are unconscious which is a lot more innovative and can save many more lives. 

Accounting and Finance:

I think managingour investmentswill be simple, everything that we earn goes directly into the account and then gets split up between our employees, bosses, and everyone else that works for me. Creating a financial planis also relatively simple because we are only going to be spending money on our product and employees. 

Information Systems and Operations:

To make sure my company is running with precision we are going to be incorporatinginformation systems in organization,management information systems, and transaction processing systems. They will help me make proper decisions to appeal to an immense crowd and help run the company properly.
